Many Hands Make Light Work

J:  We had a wonderful turnout for the Alzehimer's walk at the zoo today.  It was a perfect day, weather wise so I'm sure that helped the crowd swell.  But the main reason there were so many people there is that AD affects so many people.  It's really sobering to see how widespread the effects of this disease are.

But the true highlight of this morning was seeing all of caregivers turn out for the walk.  I can't tell you how moved I was to see the caregivers, many of them with their families, walking in support of our parents. These women are the lifeline of the Parkway Project.  Each of them adds something special that keeps this crazy show on the road.  And their genuine care and concern for our parents is so evident in everything they do.  I am just overwhelmed with gratitude that we have found so many extraordinary people to help us.

So a huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful caregivers. Truly, your many hands make our job so much easier!
